Clarice Cliff GAYDAY pattern large orange shape preserve pot and lid.

Circa 1931, Art Deco original.

Very nicely hand painted in stylized purple, orange and red flowers. This is one of Clarice's all-time popular patterns.

In generally fair condition with some internal staining and an old (dirty) chip to the internal rim (see pictures) plus a few paint losses. The lid is also a little ill-fitting. None of these issues detract from it's appeal, but only fair to mention. Displays well.

Approximately 10cm high from the bottom of the base to the top of the lid.

Back-stamped GAYDAY, Bizarre by Clarice Cliff to the base.

Please see photos for more information.

Clarice Cliff DRYDAY (variant) Lynton shape sugar sifter.

Art Deco original, circa 1936.

In overall good condition with no chips or cracks. It does have a couple of miniscule 'nibbles' to the holes on the top of the sifter. This piece doesn't have a Clarice Cliff backstamp, but I can guarantee that it is 100% genuine.

Stamped WILKINSON LTD, ENGLAND to the base. The original stopper is intact and there is an old sticker on the base also.

The sifter is approximately 12.5cm high.

Clarice Cliff CROCUS pattern conical shape trio (cup, saucer & plate).

Art Deco original, circa 1934.

All three pieces are in overall good condition. The plate and saucer have no chips, cracks or restoration. The cup has a couple of tight hairlines (see pictures) which are visible, but don’t detract from the appeal of this set. This trio still displays very well.

All three pieces are stamped Bizarre by Clarice Cliff and have impressed date marks for 1934.

The cup is approximately 6cm high. The plate is 17.5cm diameter.
