Clarice Cliff APPLES pattern small orange-shape preserve pot and lid.
Art Deco original, circa 1932.
Nicely hand painted in this very desirable and sought-after pattern, with all of the elements of the pattern present – the apples, the pastel leaves and the black ‘piano’ keys.
No chips, cracks, stains or restoration. There are a couple of very small ‘nibbles’ to the edge of the lid, which don’t detract in any way from the appeal of this piece, but only fair to mention.
Approximately 8cm high from the bottom of the base to the top of the lid.
Back-stamped Fantasque, Bizarre by Clarice Cliff to the base.
