How to sell to us – the process:

If you have items to sell and you would like us to buy them, we will follow this process:

SINGLE ITEMS:


1. 
You send details of your items plus photographs via our FREE VALUATION service.

2. We will contact you (usually within 48 hours) via email and give you more information about your items. If you have indicated you wish to sell your items, we will look to make you an offer. 

3. We will only consider buying items which are within our remit and appear on this list. We do not buy furniture, jewellery or paintings. We do not guarantee to buy everthing offered to us.

4. We will discuss your items with you via email or Whatsapp and hopefully come to a mutually agreeable offer. 

5. Once we have agreed a price, we would provide you with our address and ask you to send your items to us. 

6. Items should be carefully wrapped in thick bubble wrap, padded and double-boxed. The packaging should be strong enough to survive rough handling whilst in transit. We recommend using a tracked postal or delivery service. Please clearly mark the parcel as FRAGILE in bold print on the outside. 

7. You should also include your name, bank details, the price we have agreed plus your email address inside the parcel. 

8. Once we receive your items we will inspect them and in most cases send the agreed money to you via bank transfer on the same day. 

9. Any items damaged in transit remain your responsibility. We will not be able to pay you for breakages which occur due to inadequate packaging. Any such damages would need to be claimed by you via the courier’s insurance scheme. 

10. We will send you an email once we have received the items and funds have been sent. 

11. The process is then complete. Thanks.

 

MULTIPLE ITEMS (more than 10)/COLLECTIONS:

1. You send details of your items plus photographs via our FREE VALUATION service.

2. We will contact you (usually within 48 hours) via email and give you more information about your collection. If you have indicated you wish to sell your items, we will look to make you an offer. Our offer will assume that all of your items are in good condition with no damage or significant restoration.

3. We will only consider buying items which are within our remit and appear on this list. We do not buy furniture, jewellery or paintings. We do not guarantee to buy everthing offered to us.

4. We will discuss your items with you via email or Whatsapp and hopefully come to a mutually agreeable offer for your whole collection (subject to condition).

5. Once we have established a price, we will arrange for a specialist Art & Antiques courier to collect your items on an agreed date/time. You will need to provide your address and phone number so they can be passed to the courier. You should also make us aware of any parking or access restrictions in place at your property.

6. Items should be carefully wrapped in thick bubble wrap, padded and securely boxed in readiness for the courier to arrive. The packaging should be strong enough to survive potential rough handling whilst in transit. All boxes should be marked FRAGILE. The courier will insure your items whilst they are being transported.

7. Prior to the courier arriving we will ask you for your bank details so we can make a test payment of £1 into your account. This is to ensure a smooth transaction on the day of collection. 

8. On the day of collection either the courier or yourself should phone us to confirm safe despatch of the items. At that point we will pay 50% of the agreed total into your bank account.

9. Once we receive your items (usually a couple of days after pickup) we will inspect them and in most cases send the outstanding balance to you via bank transfer on the same day. Any items found to be damaged or not as described will be subject to a reduction from the final payment. We will make you aware of any such deductions and the reason(s) why we have made a reduction in payment.

9. Any items damaged in transit will be the responsibility of the courier, who will make an insurance claim for the damages as long as they were packaged correctly by you. We will not be able to pay you for breakages which occur due to inadequate packaging.

10. We will send you an email once we have received the items and all funds have been sent. 

11. The process is then complete. Thanks.
