This is a lovely Clarice Cliff AUREA pattern bonjour tea for two set, comprising teapot, milk, sugar, two cups and saucers and a small tea plate.
Art Deco original, circa 1936.
The set is in near-perfect condition with no chips, cracks or restoration, but has a very tiny fleabite nick to the edge of the teapot and also a little bit of paint wear to the top of the teapot. Neither of which detract in any way from it’s appeal, but only fair to mention (see pictures).
All pieces are stamped with the large script Clarice Cliff back-stamp.
Teapot is 13cm high, milk & sugar are 6.5cm high, cups are 6cm high and the plate is 15cm diameter.
