Clarice Cliff AUTUMN (blue) pattern Athens jug.
Art Deco original. Circa 1931.
A very nicely decorated, bright piece which has the full pattern right around the body of the jug. Stunning!
In good condition with no chips, cracks or restoration. A small under-glaze firing line at the base of the handle, which isn’t damage and would have been there when the jug left the factory. Only mentioned in the interest of accuracy.
The jug is 18cm high.
Carries the FANTASQUE, Bizarre by Clarice Cliff back-stamp to the base.
