Clarice Cliff AUTUMN (orange) ashtray.
Circa 1935. Art Deco original.
Thickly hand-painted and bright in orange, yellow, brown and blue with a central balloon-trees design to the well of the ashtray. This is a lovely piece which would enhance and CC collection.
No chips, cracks or restoration, in good condition. A couple of very minor paint frits.
Stamped Bizarre by Clarice Cliff to the base. Also has an impressed date mark, which I think is for April 1935 (indistinct).
Width of ashtray is 12cm.
