Clarice Cliff – AUTUMN (orange) pattern – A circular tea-for-two size plate.
Art Deco original, circa 1933.
Hand painted with abstract balloon trees pattern in orange, yellow, brown & blue.
In good overall condition with no chips or cracks, but does have a small area of professional restoration to the back, an area of paint refreshing to the pattern and some crazing. Still displays very well and if you are looking for one to complete a tea or coffee set then this fits the bill perfectly!
Printed Bizarre by Clarice Cliff mark to the back of the plate and an impressed date mark for 1933.
Plate width 15cm (6 inches).
