Clarice Cliff BLUE CHINTZ small ashtray.
Circa 1933. Art Deco original.
Nicely hand-painted and bright in green, blue and lilac with a central abstract flower design to the well of the ashtray.
Also has very attractive light green banding around the top of the ashtray.
No damage or restoration, in very good condition with just a little bit of very minor age-related crazing.
Stamped Bizarre by Clarice Cliff to the base. Also has an impressed date mark (indistinct).
Width of ashtray is 11cm.
