This is a lovely Clarice Cliff CANTERBURY BELLS covered preserve pot.
Art Deco original, circa 1933.
With no serious damage or restoration. The pot has a couple of very minor paint flecks on the two orange berries on the lid. They do not, in any way, detract from the appeal of this little pot, but only fair to mention.
Nicely hand-painted and bright with the Bizarre by Clarice Cliff stamp to the base and a handwritten CANTERBURRY BELLS pattern name.
The pot is 7.5cm high from the base to the top of the lid.
