Clarice Cliff CIRCLE TREE (RAF Tree) pattern sabot/clog.
Art Deco original, circa 1930.
This is a stunning piece, very well painted and bright with the full Circle Tree pattern around the front and back of the shoe. This is always a highly desirable pattern with collectors and somewhat of a rarity!
in good condition with no chips, cracks or stains. There is some old restoration inside the back of the clog, which is a little patchy and might benefit from a re-work. It doesn’t detract from the appeal of this piece, but only fair to mention. This old restoration is reflected in the price.
Stamped Fantasque by Clarice Cliff in script to the base.
Dimensions of the sabot are 7cm high by 14cm length.
