Clarice Cliff CIRCLE TREE (RAF Tree) small ashtray.
Circa 1930. Art Deco original.
This pattern is quite a rarity and is not often seen; in fact I don’t think I have ever seen an ashtray in this pattern!
The ashtray is well decorated an bright, with the full pattern in the well. If you are an ashtray collector or just a collector of Clarice’s small items then this one is not to be missed…..
No damage or restoration, in very good condition. Evidence of an old sticker on the back, near the backstamp.
Stamped Fantasque by Clarice Cliff in script to the base. Also has an impressed date mark for 1930.
Width of ashtray is 11cm.
