Clarice Cliff Covered Sardine Dish.
Rare item, not often seen. Hand painted with the ever-popular CROCUS pattern.
Art Deco original, circa early 1930s.
In great condition with no damage. It does have a small area of professional restoration to the top of the dish rim, but hardly visible and well done.
Very well decorated with lovely bunches of Crocus flowers on the lid and on each face of the dish.
Stamped CROCUS, Bizarre by Clarice Cliff.
The dish and cover are approximately 6cm high, 14cm long and 11cm wide.
