Clarice Cliff CROCUS pattern demitasse coffee can & saucer.
Art Deco original, circa 1932.
Hand painted in colours, depicting Crocus flowers against the brown earth.
Overall in good condition with no chips, cracks or restoration to the saucer. The cup has a small chip to the footrim underneath (see pictures), which isn’t visible from above and the cup still displays very well. Some minor wear/paint frits.
The cup is 5.5cm high and the saucer is 10.5cm across.
Both the cup and saucer carry the CROCUS, Bizarre by Clarice Cliff back stamp to the base.
