Clarice Cliff Crocus pattern covered powder/cream cheese dish. Circa 1931.
This is a fairly rare shape, not often seen.
Strongly hand-painted with large Crocus flowers to the lid. Very attractive.
No damage or restoration. The lid is perfect and the base is in very good condition, but does have a couple of minor paint frits around the edge (see photos).
Stamped CROCUS Bizarre by Clarice Cliff.
The base is 4.5cm high and 12.5 cm across the top.
