Clarice Cliff CROCUS pattern large orange shape preserve pot and lid.
Art Deco original, circa 1932.
Very nicely hand painted in stylized purple, orange and red flowers. This is one of Clarice’s all-time popular patterns.
In a fair condition. It has some damage to the top of the lid (see pictures) and a tight hairline to the body and the lid. It still displays well and would look great on your shelf with other Crocus pieces.
Approximately 10cm high from the bottom of the base to the top of the lid.
Back-stamped CROCUS, Bizarre by Clarice Cliff to the base.
