Clarice Cliff CROCUS pattern, Leda shape plate, 22cm.
Art Deco original, circa 1931.
Very well hand-painted and bright. This is a super plate with the full version of the pattern and strong edge banding.
No chips or cracks, in generally good condition. There has been a small area of professional restoration to the edge of the plate and some paint refreshing, which has been done very well and is virtually invisible, but only fair to mention. Some minor scratches to the central well (see pictures).
CROCUS, Bizarre by Clarice Cliff mark to the back of the plate and an impressed date stamp for 1931.
