Clarice Cliff CROCUS pattern nightstick candle holder.
Rare original shape, circa 1931.
In my 30+ years of collecting Clarice Cliff, I have only once seen this shape decorated with a CC pattern. It is a traditional nightstick candle holder which has been hand-painted with Clarice’s signature Crocus design.
Overall, it is in good condition, with no cracks or stains. It does have a tiny professional repair to the sconce and also to a small rim chip. Both have been expertly done and are virtually invisible, but only fair to mention.
If you are a shapes collector or a Crocus expert, this one is for you – not to be missed!
Stamped CROCUS, Bizarre by Clarice Cliff to the base.
The candle holder is approximately 5cm high by 14cm diameter.
