Clarice Cliff CROCUS Pattern Shape 335 biscuit barrel with original wicker handle. Early example.
Art Deco original, circa 1929.
In overall good condition with no chips, cracks or stains. Nicely decorated and clean with striking colours and large crocus flowers. There is some old restoration to the underside of the lid and a small, tight hairline (see pictures). Priced to reflect these small issues.
Back stamped with the large script Bizarre by Clarice Cliff mark to the base plus the CROCUS pattern name handwritten in green paint.
Biscuit barrel height is approximately 17cm.
