Clarice Cliff CROCUS pattern small size Athens shape teapot.
Art Deco original, circa 1931.
Hand painted in colours, depicting large Crocus flowers against the brown earth.
With no chips, cracks or stains, very clean and bright. Some very minor professional restoration to the teapot lid, which has been done very well and is virtually invisible, but only fair to mention and reflected in the price.
The teapot is approximately 12.cm high from the base to the top of the lid. The length of the teapot from the tip of the spout to the tip of the handle is 17cm.
Stamped CROCUS, Bizarre by Clarice Cliff to the base.
