Clarice Cliff CROCUS pattern small Stamford shape milk jug (from a tea-for-two set).
Art Deco original, circa 1932.
This is a nice jug, hand-painted with the ever-popular Crocus pattern. The small size Stamford jug which would have been issued with a Stamford shape tea for two set, or similar.
No damage, chips or restoration, in very good condition. If I’m being super-picky, I’ll mention a very tiny factory grind on the spout, which isn’t damage and would have been there when it left the factory. Hard to spot, but only fair to mention.
The jug carries the CROCUS, Bizarre by Clarice Cliff back-stamp to it’s base.
The jug is 6cm high from the base to the top of the spout.
