Product Information
Clarice Cliff CROCUS pattern Stamford shape teapot.
Art Deco original, circa 1931.
This is a very attractive teapot and has two very good things going for it. A very nice, well-painted example of Clarice’s signature pattern on what is arguably one of her very best teapot shapes!
The teapot is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or paint loss. It does have a small area of professional restoration to the teapot lid and a little bit under the lip of the pouring spout. The restoration has been carried out to a very high standard and is virtually invisible. The restoration is reflected in the price.
The teapot carries the CROCUS Bizarre by Clarice Cliff back-stamp to it’s base.
The teapot is 12cm from the base to the top of the lid.
