Clarice Cliff CROCUS small, octagonal sandwich plate.
Circa 1931. Art Deco original.
Thickly hand-painted and bright, in very nice condition with numerous bunches of flowers around the central well of the plate, which is decorated in brown to represent the earth. Outlined in green.
No serious damage or restoration, in good condition, a small scratch to the central well.
Stamped CROCUS Bizarre by Clarice Cliff to the back of the plate. Also has an impressed date mark for 1931.
Width of plate is 14cm wide.
