Clarice Cliff DELECIA POPPY large size Athens jug.
Art Deco original. Circa 1934.
This is a stunning jug. Hand painted with thick paint in a pattern which is not often seen, but desired by collectors. The decoration wraps all around the jug.
No cracks or chips, but the jug does have some professional restoration to the pouring lip at the top, which has been very well done and is virtually invisible.
Carries the DELECIA Bizarre by Clarice Cliff mark and also a patent application mark to the base.
The jug is 18cm high.
