This is a very stunning Clarice Cliff DELECIA POPPY large size, single-handled Lotus jug.
Art Deco original, circa 1934.
Hand painted with huge poppy flowers and fabulous paint runnings both outside and inside the jug.
This is a desirable and sought-after pattern on a very sought-after shape. The jug is in immaculate condition and has no damage or restoration. A real statement piece!
Stamped DELECIA, Bizarre by Clarice Cliff to the base.
The jug is a huge 29cm high.
