Clarice Cliff DOUBLE V (variant) small ashtray.
Circa 1929. Art Deco original.
Thickly hand-painted and bright in orange, yellow, black and green with a central V and leaves design to the well of the ashtray.
No damage or restoration, a couple of small (minor) paint frits, as is common on this age of pottery.
Stamped Bizarre by Clarice Cliff to the base. Also has an impressed date mark which I suspect is for 1929 (indistinct).
Width of ashtray is 11cm.
