This is a combined purchase of 2 Clarice Cliff items together.
A Clarice Cliff GAYDAY ashtray and a CHLORIS pattern pin dish/coaster.
Art Deco originals, circa 1930s.
Both are in good condition. The Gayday ashtray has a small area of professional restoration on the back, which has been done very well and is virtually invisible. The Chloris dish has no chips, cracks or restoration.
The Gayday ashtray is stamped GAYDAY, Bizarre by Clarice Cliff to the back and has an impressed date mark (indistinct). The Chloris dish has AJ Wilkinson, England, CHLORIS and Honeyglaze marks to the back.
The ashtray is 12cm and the pin dish is 9cm.
