Clarice Cliff GAYDAY – An ‘Elegant’ shape flower basket with original flower frog.
Art Deco original, circa 1931.
Hand painted with one of Clarice’s best known and popular patterns, which is expertly applied right around the body of the basket. This is a fairly rare shape which is not often seen. A must for any Gayday collector!
The basket is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or restoration. It has it’s correct flower frog (there are a couple of small chips to the frog).
Stamped with the GAY DAY, Bizarre by Clarice Cliff mark to the base.
Basket height is an impressive 31cm.
