Clarice Cliff GAYDAY pattern candlestick. Shape 310.
Circa 1930, Art Deco original.
Very nicely hand painted in stylized purple, orange and red flowers.
No chips or cracks, in generally good condition. There is a little bit of old restoration to the very top of the candlestick in the area of the yellow band which is acceptable and wouldn’t need to be re-done. There are also a couple of minor paint frits/scuffs which don’t detract in any way, but only fair to mention (see pictures).
Approximately 7.5cm high and 11.5cm across the base.
Back-stamped Bizarre by Clarice Cliff and also carries a hand-painted GAYDAY pattern name.
