This is a Clarice Cliff GAYDAY pattern conical tea cup and matched saucer.
Art Deco original, circa 1933.
The cup has lost its original saucer at some point, so I have matched it up with a similar saucer. Both are in overall good condition, but the cup does have a tight internal hairline (see pictures). It still displays very well.
Both pieces are stamped Bizarre by Clarice Cliff to their bases. The saucer has an impressed date mark for 1933.
The cup is approximately 6cm high. The saucer is 14.5cm diameter.
