Clarice Cliff GAYDAY pattern covered powder/cream cheese dish.
Art Deco original, circa 1931.
Very nicely and expertly hand-painted with flowers across the whole of the lid, this is one of Clarice’s signature patterns and you can certainly see why!
The pot is in very good condition as you can see in the photos, but does have some professional restoration to the top of the knop and underneath the lid, which has been very well done and is virtually invisible, but only fair to mention.
Stamped GAYDAY, Bizarre by Clarice Cliff to the base.
The base is 4.5cm high and 12.5 cm diameter.
