Clarice Cliff GAYDAY pattern small orange shape preserve pot and lid.
Circa 1931, Art Deco original.
Very nicely hand painted in stylized purple, orange and red flowers. This is one of Clarice’s all-time popular patterns.
No chips or cracks. In generally good condition, but does have a small area of professional restoration to the lid which is virtually invisible, but only fair to mention. A couple of minor paint frits.
Approximately 8cm high from the bottom of the base to the top of the lid.
Back-stamped Bizarre by Clarice Cliff and also carries a hand-painted GAYDAY pattern name.
