Clarice Cliff GAYDAY pattern small orange shape preserve pot and lid.
Circa 1931, Art Deco original.
Very nicely hand painted in stylized purple, orange and red flowers. This is one of Clarice’s all-time popular patterns.
No chips, cracks or restoration. In generally good condition, but does have a couple of minor paint losses to the stalk part of the lid (see pictures), which don’t detract from it’s appeal, but only fair to mention.
Approximately 8cm high from the bottom of the base to the top of the lid.
Back-stamped GAYDAY, Bizarre by Clarice Cliff to the base.
