Clarice Cliff GAYDAY pattern tankard shape coffee cup and saucer.
Art Deco original, circa 1931.
Very nicely hand-painted with a good version of the pattern right round the cup and has nice banding on the saucer.
No chips, cracks or restoration. In clean condition.
Stamped GAY DAY, Bizarre by Clarice Cliff to the base of the cup and the saucer, plus a date stamp (indistinct) to the base of the saucer.
The cup is 5cm high.
