Clarice Cliff HOUSE & BRIDGE pattern LARGE size Athens shape teapot.
Art Deco original, circa 1932.
Hand painted right around the teapot with this incredible landscape pattern, which is one of Clarice’s most recognisable Art Deco designs and is featured in many books about her work. Superbly banded teapot lid.
With no chips, cracks or stains, very clean and bright. Some professional restoration to the teapot lid and also a little to the teapot spout, which have both been done very well and are virtually invisible, but only fair to mention.
The teapot is approximately 15.cm high from the base to the top of the lid. The length of the teapot from the tip of the spout to the tip of the handle is 22cm.
