Clarice Cliff HYDRANGEA (green) pattern Bonjour shape preserve pot,
Art Deco original, circa 1934.
This is a lovely preserve pot, well decorated, with it’s correct, original lid. Nicely hand-painted and bright. A good example with the circular background to the main pattern.
In overall good condition with no cracks or restoration. It does have a couple of ‘flea-bite’ nicks on the underside of the lid (see pictures) which cannot be seen when the lid is in place, but only fair to mention.
Stamped Bizarre by Clarice Cliff to the base.
The preserve pot is approximately 10cm high from the base to the top of the lid.
