Clarice Cliff large SECRETS pattern octagonal plate, 22cm (9 inches).
Circa 1932. Art Deco original.
This is a very striking and nicely decorated plate which has the full Secrets pattern on display. It is the larger size, which is a good size for the centrepiece of a Clarice Cliff display.
In generally good condition with no chips or cracks. It does have a small area of professional restoration to the back of the plate which has been done very well and is virtually invisible, but only fair to mention. A couple of minor paint scuffs.
Stamped FANTASQUE Bizarre by Clarice Cliff to the rear of the plate. Impressed date mark for 1932.
