Clarice Cliff large size POPLAR pattern octagonal plate, 24cm (9.5 Inches).
Circa 1932. Art Deco original.
This is a very striking and nicely decorated plate which has the full POPLAR pattern on display. It is the large size, which is not often seen these days.
In good condition with no chips or cracks. There has been some professional paint refreshing to the orange band around the edge of the plate.
Stamped FANTASQUE Bizarre by Clarice Cliff to the rear of the plate and also has an impressed date stamp for 1932.
