Clarice Cliff LATONA DAHLIA (orange) shape 200 vase. Rare shape!
Art Deco original. Circa 1930.
This is a wonderful vase with the striking and very Art Deco pattern painted right around all three sides. The shape 200 is rarely seen, and to my knowledge this shape/pattern combination may be unique and only known from this example.
The vase is in generally very good condition, but does have some average restoration to one of the top-corner points (see photos). There are no other chips or cracks. I am selling the vase as-found, but a competent restorer could significantly improve the restoration and make it virtually invisible. There is a little age-related crazing.
The vase is stamped LATONA Bizarre by Clarice Cliff to the base.
Vase height is approximately 19cm.
