Product Information
Clarice Cliff LIBERTY STRIPE large beehive honey pot with correct lid.
Art Deco original, circa 1932.
Very nicely hand painted and bright in this eye-catching candy stripe pattern, which would look great in any Clarice Cliff collection as a stand-alone item or as a contrast piece. Yellow, brown and green bands of colour.
No serious damage, chips or cracks. The bee on the lid has been professionally restored, as many of the bees do get broken over time due to their fragile nature. The restoration has been done very well and is virtually invisible, but only fair to mention. Reflected in the price.
Approximately 9cm high and 9.5cm across the base.
Back-stamped Crocus, Bizarre by Clarice Cliff (the factory were often a bit slap-dash in their application of back-stamps!).
