Clarice Cliff ‘Mary’ pendant/small wall pocket.
Art Deco original, circa late 1930s.
These pendants are pretty rare and not often seen. We think this one is called ‘Mary’, but not 100% sure of that.
It dates to the late 1930s and is in overall good condition. There are no apparent chips or cracks, but we are pretty sure this one does have some old restoration on the back. We purchased it in this condition, so are not able to comment on any previous damages. However, this old repair is quite hard to spot and cannot be seen on the front, so doesn’t detract from the appeal of this lovely piece.
Stamped Clarice Cliff in script to the back.
The pendant is 14cm long by 10cm wide.
