Clarice Cliff medium size BROOKFIELDS pattern Biarritz shape plate.
Art Deco original, circa 1936.
Nicely hand-painted and bright. This is a super pattern which is very under-rated in my opinion. One of Clarice’s last true landscape patterns of the 1930s.
In good condition with no chips, cracks or restoration.
Plate carries The Biarritz, Royal Staffordshire mark and a script Clarice Cliff stamp to the back.
I have shown the smaller plate in some of the photos to provide perspective and to demonstrate how the full set is backstamped. This item sale does not include the smaller plate (I have that listed separately), so you will be buying just one medium-sized (23cm) plate.
Plate width 23cm, plate height is 19.5cm.
