Hand painted, Art Deco original, circa 1930.
A not-often-seen shape, this cigarette and match holder/ashtray would have been the height of sophistication in the 1930s, an era when nearly everyone smoked!
Hand painted right around the piece with Clarice’s ever-popular Melon pattern. In good condition with no chips, cracks or restoration. Very Art Deco!
Fully stamped FANTASQUE by Clarice Cliff to the base. Also has a Wilkinson’s HONEYGLAZE mark to the base.
Height is 8cm.
