Clarice Cliff MELON (orange) pattern. A large circular plate.
Art Deco original, circa 1930.
Hand painted with stylised, abstract fruit in orange, green, yellow, blue and red and surrounded by thick orange banding. A very attractive piece which is so Art Deco and extremely stylish.
In good condition with no chips, cracks or stains. There has been a small bit of professional paint refreshing.
Plate has the script Fantasque by Clarice Cliff mark to the back and an impressed date stamp for 1930.
The plate is 25cm.
