Clarice Cliff. MELON (orange) pattern. A large Leda shape plate.
Art Deco original, circa 1930.
Hand painted with stylised, abstract fruit in orange, green, yellow, blue and red and surrounded by thick black banding. A very attractive piece which is so Art Deco and extremely stylish.
In very good condition with no chips, cracks or restoration.
Has the script Fantasque by Clarice Cliff mark to the back and an impressed date stamp for 1930.
The plate is 25cm.
