Clarice Cliff – MELON (orange) pattern – a 3-footed bowl.
Art Deco original, circa 1930.
Hand painted with a band of abstract fruit between orange and black banding. This pattern was once known as ‘Picasso Fruit’ and you can certainly see why. Just AMAZING! This is a fairly rare shape of bowl, not often seen.
In good condition with no damage or restoration. Some minor paint ‘frits’.
Printed script FANTASQUE by Clarice Cliff mark to the base.
Bowl diameter approximately 18cm.
