Clarice Cliff MY GARDEN dressing table set with tray and two candlesticks.
Art Deco original. Circa 1934.
I think this set is somewhat of a rarity, in that its a shape that I’ve never seen before. It has two candlesticks with a platter below. Both of the candlesticks carry the large S mark to the base, which I believe denotes a sample piece.
In overall good condition with no chips, cracks or stains. The tray and one of the candlesticks are in good condition with no damage. The other candlestick has old restoration to the base and to the sconce at the top. It may benefit from a re-working of the restoration to modern standards. It still displays very well, but only fair of me to mention. Some minor crazing.
All three pieces are stamped Bizarre by Clarice Cliff to the base.
The tray is 32cm long and 14cm wide. The candlesticks are 13cm high.
