Clarice Cliff NAPOLI pattern Bon Jour shape biscuit barrel with original wicker handle.
Art Deco original, circa 1937.
This is one of Clarice’s later landscape patterns which is very stylish. This piece will appeal to collectors of the pattern and also biscuit barrel collectors who may not already have this pattern/shape combination.
In overall good condition with no chips, cracks or stains. Nicely decorated and clean with a good version of the pattern both front and back. A small area of professional restoration to the inner edge of the lid, which has been expertly applied and is virtually invisible, but only fair to mention.
Back stamped Clarice Cliff in script to the base.
Biscuit barrel height is approximately 16cm from the feet to the top of the lid.
