Product Information
Clarice Cliff NUAGE (fruit) pattern bon bon dish.
Art Deco original, circa 1932.
Thickly hand-painted and bright in stippled orange, yellow, blue and green with an abstract fruit design to the well of the dish. This dish would, originally, have been part of a bon-bon set with a large handled carrier plate and six individual bon bon dishes (like this one). Complete sets are rare and don’t appear too often.
In good condition with no chips, cracks or restoration. Very eye-catching.
Stamped NUAGE, Bizarre by Clarice Cliff to the base. Also has a raised shape number of 472 and a sticker from the Dean and Mary Rockwell Collection (see pictures).
Width of dish is 9.5cm.
