Clarice Cliff NUAGE (orange) large Stamford shape jug, 12cm..
Art Deco original, circa 1932.
This is a lovely jug, hand-painted with the attractive, floral Nuage pattern in orange, yellow, blue, black and red. This is the larger size stamford jug, which is the same size as a stamford teapot and not to be confused with the smaller size, which is usually seen with a stamford teaset.
No damage, chips or restoration. In very good condition.
The jug carries the Bizarre by Clarice Cliff back-stamp to it’s base.
The jug is 12cm high from the base to the top rim.
