Clarice Cliff ORANGE ROOF COTTAGE pattern small Leda plate, 15cms.
Art Deco original, circa 1932.
This is an AMAZING, dinky little plate, which is expertly hand painted with this highly sought-after CC pattern.
No restoration, cracks or damage. In very good condition.
Unfortunately it doesn’t have a Clarice Cliff backstamp. That was fairly common on plates which were originally part of a very large set. I can 100% GURANTEE this as being a genuine CC plate, despite the lack of backstamp. It has an impressed date mark for 1932 (indistinct). It does have MADE IN ENGLAND stamped to the base of the plate.
